All alumni are invited to join us for an Alumni Community Service Project following Family Mass on Sunday, May 1 in Centennial Center at Marist School. We will be packing first aid kids for Aid the Journey, Inc. A non-profit organization founded by Marist alumna Kennedy Walls, class of 2020. Aid the Journey provides practical and personalized medical kits to refugees and asylum seekers in Clarkston, Georgia.
How can you help? We need both in-person volunteers and donations towards the supplies for the packs. The supplies for each complete kit costs $5.00 to produce. Our goal is to assemble 400 packs. To assist us in reaching our goal, we have two donors who are willing to match our alumni contributions up to $500.00 each.
